# What You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - 12 dried Black Mission figs
02 - 1 fresh beet, sliced very thin
03 - 4 sheets rice paper wrappers

→ For Marinade and Serving

04 - 1/4 cup maple syrup, divided
05 - 1 teaspoon beet juice
06 - Gluten-free toast, for serving
07 - Plant-based cream cheese, for serving

# Directions:

01 - Remove the hard stem end from each dried Black Mission fig.
02 - Peel the beet and use a mandoline or sharp knife to cut into very thin slices.
03 - Enclose each fig in a layer of thinly sliced beet, securing with a piece of rice paper wrapper moistened to soften.
04 - Combine maple syrup and beet juice in a shallow dish. Place wrapped figs into the mixture and let marinate for several minutes.
05 - Preheat air fryer to 350°F (177°C). Arrange the marinated, wrapped figs in a single layer and air fry for 4 to 6 minutes, until the beet softens and rice paper turns lightly crisp.

# Notes:

01 - Use a mandoline for uniform beet slices to ensure even wrapping and cooking.
