Tasty Fruity Pebbles Sushi (Print View)

Enjoy colorful Fruity Pebbles sushi with marshmallow and candy fillings. Crowd-pleasing, sweet, and simple to prepare.

# What You'll Need:

→ Base Mixture

01 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 1 bag (10 ounces) mini marshmallows
03 - 6 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal

→ Optional Fillings

04 - Gummy worms
05 - Swedish Fish candies
06 - Fruit Roll-Ups

# Directions:

01 - Lightly grease a 9 by 13-inch baking dish or a large baking sheet with butter or non-stick spray. Line the base and sides with parchment paper, allowing some overhang to aid in removal.
02 - Melt the unsalted butter in a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted and the mixture is smooth and glossy. Take care to prevent burning.
03 - Remove the saucepan from heat. Immediately add the Fruity Pebbles cereal and, using a greased spatula, gently fold until the cereal is thoroughly coated. Avoid crushing the cereal pieces.
04 - Transfer the cereal-marshmallow mixture onto the prepared parchment. Place a second greased sheet of parchment on top. Press and flatten the mixture into an even rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick, using a rolling pin or your hands.
05 - Remove the top sheet of parchment. If desired, arrange gummy worms, Swedish Fish candies, or Fruit Roll-Ups in a straight line along one long edge of the rectangle.
06 - Using the bottom sheet of parchment, carefully lift and roll the mixture from the edge with the fillings into a tight log. Gently squeeze while rolling to ensure compactness.
07 - Wrap the roll with parchment or cling film and refrigerate for at least 20 to 30 minutes until firm.
08 - Unwrap the log and transfer to a cutting board. Using a large, sharp knife greased with butter or cooking spray, slice the roll into 1-inch thick rounds. Arrange pieces on a serving platter.

# Notes:

01 - Work quickly once the marshmallow mixture leaves the heat, as it sets rapidly and becomes difficult to shape if left too long.
