Gourmet British Stilton Bacon (Print View)

Succulent beef, creamy Stilton, and crispy bacon unite in a gourmet British burger on toasted brioche.

# What You'll Need:

→ Burger Patties

01 - 500 grams grass-fed ground beef
02 - 1 small red onion, finely chopped
03 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
04 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
05 - Salt, to taste
06 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Burger Assembly

07 - 100 grams Stilton cheese, crumbled
08 - 4 slices streaky bacon, cooked until crispy
09 - 4 brioche buns, lightly toasted

# Directions:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, gently combine ground beef, finely chopped red onion, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix lightly to preserve the beef’s texture.
02 - Divide the mixture into four equal parts. Shape each into a patty slightly wider than the buns, pressing a small indentation in the center of each for even cooking.
03 - Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
04 - In the final minute of cooking, top each patty with Stilton cheese and allow it to melt.
05 - Toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden and crisp at the edges.
06 - Layer each burger by placing a patty with Stilton on a toasted bun base, topping with a slice of crispy bacon, and finishing with the top bun. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal flavor and juiciness, avoid compacting the meat mixture excessively during patty formation.
