Spinach Feta Mini Rolls (Print View)

Flaky mini rolls filled with spinach, feta, and cream cheese—ideal for appetizers or snacking.

# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1 package puff pastry, thawed

→ Filling

02 - 2 cups fresh spinach, finely chopped
03 - 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
04 - 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
05 - 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Egg Wash

10 - 1 egg, beaten

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened. Stir in chopped spinach and cook for 2–3 minutes, until wilted. Remove from heat.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed spinach mixture, feta cheese, cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until the filling is evenly blended.
04 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to smooth any creases. Cut pastry into squares, approximately 3x3 inches each.
05 - Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the spinach-feta filling onto the center of each pastry square. Fold over to form triangles or rectangles, pressing edges firmly to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges if desired.
06 - Brush the tops of the pastry rolls evenly with the beaten egg.
07 - Arrange the pastries on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
08 - Remove from oven and allow pastries to cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the puff pastry remains cold before baking for optimal flakiness.
