No Bake Truffles (Print View)

Bright citrusy bites wrapped in smooth white chocolate, perfect for dessert lovers who want to skip baking.

# What You'll Need:

→ Coating & Garnish

01 - 200 g candy melts or white chocolate chips
02 - Optional: extra orange zest
03 - Optional: sprinkles

→ Truffle Base

04 - 120 g smashed vanilla wafers
05 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 60 ml thawed frozen orange juice concentrate
07 - 1 optional teaspoon of grated orange peel
08 - 115 g softened unsalted butter
09 - 180 g powdered sugar

# Directions:

01 - Grab your butter and powdered sugar, and whip them in a large bowl until creamy and smooth. Toss in the orange juice, vanilla, and zest. Mix it all up, then stir in the smashed vanilla wafers until it all comes together.
02 - Take a tablespoon of the dough, roll it into a ball, and line them up on a sheet with parchment. Pop them in the fridge for half an hour or so to firm up.
03 - Use a microwave-safe bowl and heat the white chocolate or candy melts in 20-second bursts. Stir as you go to make sure it’s smooth and completely melted.
04 - Drop each cold truffle into the melted coating, making sure it’s fully covered. Let the extra chocolate run off, then lay each one onto the parchment paper again.
05 - Before the coating hardens, sprinkle on any decorations like orange zest or colorful sprinkles if you want.
06 - Chill the coated truffles for 15-20 minutes until they’re nice and solid. Serve cold or let them sit out a few minutes to soften before eating.

# Notes:

01 - Store these in a sealed container in the fridge, where they’ll stay good for roughly a week.
02 - To enjoy them at their best, let the truffles warm up for about 10 minutes before biting in.
