Mummy Oreo Balls Treats (Print View)

Golden Oreo balls dipped in chocolate with candy eyes. Fun, easy, and perfect for festive occasions.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - 20 golden Oreo cookies
02 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
03 - 10 ounces vanilla candy melts or dipping wafers
04 - 1 package candy eyes

# Directions:

01 - Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
02 - Place golden Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely ground.
03 - Transfer cookie crumbs and softened cream cheese to a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until smooth and homogeneous.
04 - Use a small cookie scoop to portion the mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll each between your palms to create smooth, even spheres.
05 - Arrange the balls on the prepared baking sheet and place in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm.
06 - Melt vanilla candy melts or wafers according to package instructions. Transfer melted coating to a small bowl or glass.
07 - Using a fork, dip each chilled ball into the melted coating, turning to ensure full coverage. Let excess coating drip off before placing back on the baking sheet.
08 - Transfer remaining melted coating to a zip-top bag, snip a small tip, and drizzle over the coated balls to create a mummy effect. Press two candy eyes onto each ball while the coating is tacky, using an additional dab of coating if needed for adhesion.
09 - Refrigerate the decorated balls for 15 to 20 minutes until the coating is completely set.
10 - Once set, arrange on a platter and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy blending and smooth texture.
02 - If the coating thickens, briefly rewarm to maintain a smooth, pourable consistency.
