Grilled Chicken Avocado Melt (Print View)

Avocado and chicken unite atop crisp toast with melted mozzarella for a savory, satisfying meal.

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 1 slice multigrain bread

→ Toppings

02 - 0.5 avocado
03 - Sea salt, to taste
04 - Black pepper, to taste
05 - 3 grilled chicken breast strips, pre-cooked
06 - 15 grams low-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded

# Directions:

01 - Toast the multigrain bread slice until golden brown using a toaster, or arrange slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated 175°C oven for 5–7 minutes, turning halfway.
02 - Dice the avocado half and transfer to a small bowl.
03 - Sprinkle diced avocado with sea salt and black pepper to taste, then lightly mash with a fork. Adjust seasoning as desired.
04 - Spread the seasoned avocado mixture evenly over the toasted bread, covering to the edges.
05 - Arrange the grilled chicken breast strips on top of the avocado, then sprinkle with shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese.
06 - Broil for approximately 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

01 - For best flavour, use freshly ground black pepper and ripe avocado.
