French Toast Muffins (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 4 cups of bread pieces (any type of bread works)
02 - 240ml of milk
03 - 60g of melted butter
04 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla
05 - 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
06 - 200g of sugar
07 - 4 eggs, large

→ Serving

08 - Optional: A drizzle of maple syrup

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease up a 12-slot muffin tray properly.
02 - Crack the eggs into a big bowl, then whisk in the milk, vanilla, sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
03 - Toss the bread pieces into the bowl and gently combine until they're soaked and coated all over.
04 - Scoop the mixture into the muffin slots, making sure they’re each about three-quarters full.
05 - Pour the melted butter lightly over each muffin cup, trying to cover as evenly as you can.
06 - Let them bake in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, until they rise and turn golden brown.
07 - Once baked, wait a bit for them to cool so you can safely remove them from the muffin tray.
08 - Enjoy while warm! Add cinnamon sugar or maple syrup on top if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - You can set this up in advance and keep it in the fridge overnight before baking.
02 - Add a handful of chopped nuts or dried fruits for a fun twist in texture.
