# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

→ Topping

02 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley

→ Garnish

05 - 1 slice cheddar cheese
06 - 8 slices black olives

→ Serving

07 - Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
02 - Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
03 - Place the triangles on an ungreased baking sheet.
04 - Brush triangles with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with garlic powder and dried parsley.
05 - Fold the straight end of each triangle over to form the brim of the hat.
06 - While baking, slice cheddar cheese into 8 thin strips.
07 - Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
08 - Let cool briefly, then place a strip of cheddar on each hat above the brim, trimming as needed.
09 - Place one black olive slice in the center of each cheese strip to resemble a buckle. Allow cheese to melt slightly to secure.
10 - Present warm, with marinara sauce for dipping if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, allow pastries to cool slightly before garnishing to prevent excessive cheese melting.
