Classic Bubble Mash Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 2 cups of mashed potatoes leftover from another meal
02 - 1 cup of cooked veggies on hand (like peas, carrots, Brussels sprouts, or cabbage), roughly chopped
03 - 1/2 cup of finely diced onion

→ Fats & Seasonings

04 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil
05 - 2 tablespoons of butter
06 - Salt and freshly cracked black pepper as per your taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a big mixing bowl, stir together your leftover mashed taters, chopped-up veggies, and the onion until it all looks blended well.
02 - On medium heat, melt the butter with the olive oil in a large frying pan until the butter gets bubbly.
03 - Spread the potato mix evenly across the hot pan, pressing it down. Let it sizzle without touching it for about 10 to 15 minutes until the bottom turns golden and crisp.
04 - Flip the potato blend (if it breaks apart a bit, no stress!) and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes, aiming for both sides to turn crunchy and golden.
05 - Add salt and pepper as needed, serve nice and hot, and enjoy while it's still crispy!

# Notes:

01 - If you’re wondering what to do with extra cooked vegetables or mashed potatoes, this British recipe is a great choice!
02 - Cabbage is traditionally used, but don’t hesitate to use whatever cooked veggies you’ve got leftover.
