Tangy Honey Lime Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 6-8 chicken thighs or 3-4 chicken breasts (pick based on your preference)

→ Marinade

02 - 6 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
03 - 3 tablespoons lime juice
04 - 2 tablespoons honey
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
06 - 1 tablespoon crushed garlic

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl, stir together the teriyaki sauce, lime juice, honey, olive oil, and garlic until well blended.
02 - Take about 1/4 of your sauce mixture and put it aside for later use during cooking.
03 - Put your chicken in a covered container or sealed bag and pour the remaining sauce over it. Let it sit for at least 1 hour or keep it in the fridge overnight.
04 - Heat your grill or pan to medium-high and cook the chicken about 6-8 minutes per side until it hits 165°F (74°C) inside.
05 - While the chicken cooks, brush it with your saved sauce. You can also warm the sauce in a small pot to make it thicker before pouring it over the chicken.
06 - Let the chicken sit for 5 minutes after cooking. Then cut it up and serve it with rice, on top of a salad, or however you want.
