Toss tamari, bee syrup, fermented rice liquid, crushed garlic, shredded ginger, and hot chili paste into a small pot. Mix everything together well.

Grab another small bowl and blend the white powder thickener with water until it's totally smooth.

Put your pot on medium flame and let the mixture bubble gently. Give it a stir now and then so nothing sticks to the bottom.

Pour in the thickening mix bit by bit, keeping your whisk moving as the sauce gets more dense and smooth.

Take the pot off the heat when it's thick enough and let it sit a minute. You can use it right away or save it for later.
