Sweet Fiery Dragon Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup tamari
02 - 1/4 cup bee syrup
03 - 2 tablespoons fermented rice liquid
04 - 2 cloves garlic, crushed
05 - 1 teaspoon fresh root ginger, shredded
06 - 1 tablespoon hot chili paste
07 - 1 tablespoon white powder thickener
08 - 2 tablespoons tap water

# Instructions:

01 - Toss tamari, bee syrup, fermented rice liquid, crushed garlic, shredded ginger, and hot chili paste into a small pot. Mix everything together well.
02 - Grab another small bowl and blend the white powder thickener with water until it's totally smooth.
03 - Put your pot on medium flame and let the mixture bubble gently. Give it a stir now and then so nothing sticks to the bottom.
04 - Pour in the thickening mix bit by bit, keeping your whisk moving as the sauce gets more dense and smooth.
05 - Take the pot off the heat when it's thick enough and let it sit a minute. You can use it right away or save it for later.

# Notes:

01 - Want less kick? Just put in less hot chili paste.
02 - This works great for soaking meats, dipping stuff, or drizzling on grilled food and stir-fries.
03 - Got leftovers? Stick them in the fridge in a sealed container and they'll stay good for about a week.
