Smash the banana in a bowl until totally smooth. Throw in the self-rising flour and stir everything together using a fork or spatula.

When the mix looks a bit chunky, get your hands in there and work it until you've got a smooth ball that's a little sticky inside. Don't mix too much though.

Cut the dough into 7 same-sized chunks. Put a tiny bit of oil on your hands and roll each piece into a ball.

Give the air fryer basket a quick spray with non-stick spray. Put the dough balls in with some room between them so they won't stick together.

Pop them in the air fryer at 177°C (350°F) and let them cook for 6 minutes until they turn a nice golden color.

As soon as they come out, brush a little oil on each warm ball and roll them in your cinnamon sugar mix until they're fully covered.

They taste way better when they're still warm, so don't wait to eat them.
