Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Crust

01 - 450 g pizza dough
02 - 6–8 mozzarella string cheese sticks

→ Toppings

03 - 120 ml pizza sauce
04 - 200 g shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 20–25 pepperoni slices (beef or turkey)

→ Finishings

06 - 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
07 - Optional: garlic powder, Italian seasoning, or grated Parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 220°C. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat. Lightly grease a pizza pan or baking sheet if not using a stone.
02 - Roll out the pizza dough to a 30 cm circle on a lightly floured surface. Transfer to the prepared pan or hot stone.
03 - Arrange mozzarella string cheese sticks around the edge of the dough, leaving a 2.5 cm border. Fold dough over the cheese sticks and press to seal tightly, enclosing the cheese.
04 - Spread pizza sauce evenly over the centre of the dough, keeping the stuffed crust exposed. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
05 - Distribute pepperoni slices evenly on the cheese layer. Brush the stuffed crust with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle with optional garlic powder, Italian seasoning, or grated Parmesan if desired.
06 - Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
07 - Remove pizza from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the crust is well-sealed to prevent cheese from melting out during baking.
02 - For optimal results, bake on a pizza stone preheated in the oven for a crispier crust.
