# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb jumbo or large shrimp, peeled and cleaned
02 - 2 tbsp high-quality olive oil
03 - 2 tbsp mild, unsalted butter
04 - 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
05 - 2 fresh red chili peppers, diced
06 - 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
07 - 1/2 tsp coarse salt, adjust to your liking
08 - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, season to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Place a large skillet on high heat, add the butter and olive oil, and wait until the butter is fully melted and sizzling.
02 - Toss the shrimp into the hot skillet. Lay them out flat in one thin layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let them cook for 2–3 minutes until their edges get golden, crispy, and they turn pink.
03 - Turn each shrimp and let them sear for another couple of minutes. Sprinkle more salt and pepper on this side too.
04 - Toss in the minced garlic, red chili, and parsley. Stir it all up so the heat can bring out the flavors. Let it cook for 30 seconds—don’t let the garlic burn!
05 - Take the pan off the heat and serve right away. These shrimp are awesome as an appetizer, with steamed veggies, or on top of fluffy rice.
