Spicy Chicken Thighs (Print View)

Tender chicken thighs with a golden, crunchy coating infused with bold spices and zesty buffalo sauce.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
02 - 4 chicken thighs

→ Spice Rub

03 - 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
04 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
06 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
07 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
08 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
09 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
10 - 1 teaspoon salt

# Directions:

01 - Stir all the spice rub ingredients in a small dish till everything's blended evenly.
02 - Use a paper towel to dry the chicken really well. Cover the thighs all over with the spice rub.
03 - Warm up your air fryer or oven to 190°C (375°F).
04 - Put the thighs skin side down in the air fryer. Cook for 12 minutes, flip the skin side up, and fry 12-14 more minutes until the internal temperature checks out.
05 - To bake in the oven, leave the chicken skin side up on a baking tray and cook for 25-30 minutes. Don’t flip it; the skin stays crisper that way.
06 - When it’s done cooking, pour the buffalo sauce over the chicken or toss them gently to cover all sides.

# Notes:

01 - Dry chicken skin well beforehand for the best crispy texture.
02 - Baking powder in the rub works wonders for making the skin really crisp.
