Stir all the spice rub ingredients in a small dish till everything's blended evenly.

Use a paper towel to dry the chicken really well. Cover the thighs all over with the spice rub.

Warm up your air fryer or oven to 190°C (375°F).

Put the thighs skin side down in the air fryer. Cook for 12 minutes, flip the skin side up, and fry 12-14 more minutes until the internal temperature checks out.

To bake in the oven, leave the chicken skin side up on a baking tray and cook for 25-30 minutes. Don’t flip it; the skin stays crisper that way.

When it’s done cooking, pour the buffalo sauce over the chicken or toss them gently to cover all sides.
