Sloppy Joe Quesadilla Flavors (Print View)

Melty muenster, tangy beef, and golden tortillas combine for flavor-packed quesadillas with a hint of sweetness.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 16 ounces Hunt's Manwich sauce (any flavor, Bold recommended)
02 - 1 1/3 pounds lean ground beef
03 - 8 6-inch flour tortillas
04 - 4 ounces muenster cheese, grated
05 - 1 tablespoon oil

→ Homemade Sloppy Joe Sauce (Optional)

06 - 1/8 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark)
07 - 1/8 cup yellow mustard
08 - 1/2 cup ketchup

# Directions:

01 - In a bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard, and ketchup until smooth. Set aside.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until no pink remains, breaking apart with a spoon. Drain off excess fat and return beef to the skillet.
03 - Add Manwich sauce or homemade mixture to the beef. Stir well, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
04 - Heat a clean skillet or sauté pan over medium heat. Add oil and allow to heat until shimmering.
05 - Place one flour tortilla in the hot pan. Spread an even layer of the meat mixture on top, then sprinkle with grated muenster cheese. Cover with a second tortilla.
06 - Cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until the bottom tortilla turns golden brown. Carefully flip and cook the other side for 3 to 4 minutes until both sides are browned and cheese is melted.
07 - Repeat steps to make additional quesadillas with remaining ingredients.
08 - Transfer cooked quesadillas to a cutting board. Slice into wedges and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - Allow quesadillas to rest briefly before cutting to prevent filling from spilling out.
