Puff Pastry Pizza Ghost (Print View)

Flaky puff pastry meets cheesy marinara and pepperoni, shaped in playful ghost forms for a fun bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1 package (17.3 oz) frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed

→ Sauce and Toppings

02 - 1 cup marinara sauce
03 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1/2 cup pepperoni slices

→ Egg Wash

05 - 1 large egg
06 - 1 tablespoon water

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Allow puff pastry sheets to thaw at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes until pliable.
02 - Cut 4 ghost shapes from each sheet to create 8 total. Arrange 4 ghosts on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
03 - Spoon 2 tablespoons marinara sauce onto the center of each ghost base, leaving a 1/4-inch border. Top each with 3 to 4 pepperoni slices and 2 to 3 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese.
04 - Use a round piping tip to punch out two eyes and a mouth in the remaining 4 ghost shapes. Place each top over a filled base and gently press the edges with your fingers to seal.
05 - In a small bowl, whisk the egg and 1 tablespoon water together with a fork. Brush the tops of each ghost with the egg wash.
06 - Bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until pastry is golden brown and fully cooked. Let cool on the baking sheet for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use chilled puff pastry and avoid overfilling to maintain defined ghost shapes.
