Pink Berry Brownie Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Brownie Base

01 - 1 package strawberry cake mix (we like Pillsbury best)
02 - 2 large eggs
03 - 80 ml (⅓ cup) canola or vegetable oil
04 - 5 ml (1 teaspoon) vanilla extract

→ Strawberry Glaze

05 - 90g (¾ cup) confectioners' sugar
06 - 40g (2 tablespoons) strawberry jam (Bonne Maman works great)
07 - 22ml (1½ tablespoons) milk
08 - 15g (1 tablespoon) cream cheese (skip if you want)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Give an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) pan a good coat of nonstick spray or cover it with parchment paper or foil.
02 - Grab a large bowl and mix the strawberry cake mix with eggs, oil, and vanilla until everything's blended well.
03 - Push the mixture into your pan and smooth it out. Pop it in the oven for 18-22 minutes until it's just firm but still soft. Let it cool completely before you add the glaze.
04 - In a small bowl, stir the confectioners' sugar, strawberry jam, milk, and cream cheese (if you're using it) until you've got a smooth mixture that's easy to spread.
05 - Once the brownies are totally cool, spread your glaze all over them. Wait for the glaze to firm up before cutting into squares.

# Notes:

01 - You might need to tweak baking time if you're using a glass dish instead of metal.
02 - For really neat cuts, stick the glazed brownies in the fridge for 30 minutes before slicing.
