Easy Pan Fried Peaches Cinnamon (Print View)

Pan-caramelized peaches with brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter for a quick, flavorful dessert or topping.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 fresh peaches
02 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
03 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar, adjust to taste
04 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
06 - Pinch of salt

# Directions:

01 - Slice each peach in half lengthwise and remove the stone.
02 - Melt the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of salt. Stir until combined.
03 - Arrange peach halves in the skillet with the cut side facing down. Allow them to cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cut surface is caramelized and golden brown.
04 - Carefully turn the peaches over and continue cooking for an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Serve hot as desired.

# Notes:

01 - For variation, substitute peaches with nectarines, apples, plums, bananas, or pineapples. Slicing peaches yields a different texture; avoid very thin slices to prevent breakage. Adjust cooking time for darker caramelization or a lightly smoky flavor. Incorporate nutmeg, cloves, or vanilla for added depth. Sweeten with maple syrup, honey, palm sugar, or white sugar if preferred. For a vegan alternative, use coconut oil or plant-based butter. Salted butter is suitable if you omit additional salt. A grill pan may be used for a smoky grilled flavor.
