# Ingredients:

→ Cake Batter

01 - 1 cup granulated sugar
02 - 3 large eggs
03 - 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
04 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
05 - ½ teaspoon salt
06 - 1 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
08 - 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
10 - 1/2 cup olive oil (vegetable or canola oil works too)
11 - Powdered sugar (optional, for sprinkling)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. For the pan, use an 8.5 x 4.5 inch loaf pan. Grease and flour it so the cake doesn’t stick later.
02 - In a medium-sized bowl, take the flour, baking powder, and salt. Give them a thorough mix using a whisk until everything’s even.
03 - In a bigger bowl, toss in the yogurt, sugar, eggs, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla. Mix it up until it’s really smooth. Then slowly add the olive oil while stirring so it all blends together nicely.
04 - Carefully incorporate the dry mix into the wet mixture. Don’t overdo it—just stir until you see no dry spots.
05 - Pour everything into your loaf pan and bake it for about 50 to 55 minutes. It’s ready when the top turns golden and a toothpick you poke in comes out clean.
06 - Let the freshly baked cake sit in the pan for 20 minutes. Then move it onto a wire rack so it can fully cool. If you’d like, sprinkle powdered sugar on top for an extra touch.

# Notes:

01 - This moist and flavorful orange cake is made with full-fat yogurt and olive oil, giving it a lighter, healthier vibe compared to traditional cakes—and it’s packed with orange goodness!
02 - It’s best to stick to full-fat Greek yogurt since low-fat or regular ones might mess with the cake’s texture.
