No Bake Puppy Chow Bars (Print View)

Sweet, crunchy, chocolate and peanut butter bars coated in powdered sugar for a classic bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Puppy Chow Bars

01 - 7 cups Chex corn cereal
02 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
03 - 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter (5 ounces)
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
05 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 cup powdered sugar

# Directions:

01 - Combine chocolate chips, creamy peanut butter, unsalted butter, and vanilla extract in a large microwave-safe bowl.
02 - Microwave the bowl for 60 to 90 seconds, or until the mixture begins to melt. Remove and stir until smooth.
03 - Pour Chex corn cereal over the melted mixture and use a silicone spatula to gently fold until all pieces are fully coated.
04 - Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
05 - Evenly spread the coated cereal mixture in the prepared baking dish. Refrigerate for 60 to 90 minutes, or until fully set.
06 - Remove from the refrigerator and cut into bars of preferred size. Place powdered sugar in a small bowl and toss each bar until thoroughly coated. Store finished bars in the refrigerator.
