Easy Mongolian Beef Noodles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

β†’ Noodles & Protein

01 - 16 ounces of spaghetti, rice noodles, or linguine
02 - 1 pound of ground beef

β†’ Flavorful Sauce

03 - 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
04 - 2/3 cup beef broth
05 - 1/3 cup soy sauce
06 - 1/4 cup brown sugar

β†’ Spices & Garnish

07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
08 - 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
09 - 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
10 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
11 - Optional: sliced green onions for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Boil a pot of water and cook the noodles you picked following the directions on the package.
02 - Heat up a big pan and brown the ground beef. Drain any fat left and put the meat back into the pan.
03 - Pour the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, and black pepper into the pan with the beef. Stir together everything until it’s all mixed up nicely.
04 - Drain your noodles, toss them in the pan with the sauce, and stir to get them coated. If you like, sprinkle on some chopped green onions before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Want it spicy? Toss in more chili flakes.
02 - Cut back on salt by using soy sauce with less sodium.
