Spiced beef patties, coconut curry sauce, and crisp veggies deliver bold Malaysian flavor in every bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Curry Paste

01 - 2 tablespoons red curry paste, preferably homemade or premium store-bought

→ Beef Patties

02 - 500 grams ground beef, 80% lean
03 - 1 tablespoon fish sauce
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

→ Burger Assembly

05 - 4 medium burger buns, toasted
06 - 120 millilitres coconut milk, full-fat
07 - 100 grams bean sprouts, fresh
08 - 1 small cucumber, thinly sliced
09 - 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
10 - 15 grams fresh cilantro, chopped
11 - 4 lime wedges

# Directions:

01 - Gently heat the red curry paste in a small saucepan over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring continuously until fragrant. Add coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, fish sauce, and minced garlic. Mix lightly to distribute ingredients evenly. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape each into a patty.
03 - Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each patty for 4–5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Let patties rest for several minutes before assembling.
04 - Spread curry coconut sauce on each toasted bun base. Place a beef patty on top, then layer with bean sprouts, cucumber slices, red onion, and chopped cilantro. Squeeze a lime wedge over the toppings and finish with the bun top.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal juiciness in beef patties, do not overmix or compact the meat during shaping.
