Heat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Cover a baking tray with foil and arrange bacon strips on top. Pop in the oven for 25 minutes, then move to a plate lined with paper towels to soak up extra fat.

Follow the directions on the hash brown package. If you're using an air fryer, cook them at 200°C (400°F) for about 15 minutes.

Layer avocado slices on your hot hash browns. Add a small amount of sour cream, shake some garlic salt over it, and break the crispy bacon on top. Scatter cheese, add the sliced scallions and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Eat right away while it's hot.
