Ice Cream Bread Loaf (Print View)

Sweet, simple loaf using melted ice cream and flour. Soft texture and colorful sprinkles for a fun treat.

# What You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
02 - 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour

→ Topping

03 - Multicolored sprinkles, as desired

# Directions:

01 - Set the oven temperature to 350°F (177°C).
02 - Grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch (21.5 x 11.5 x 6.5-centimeter) bread pan and set aside.
03 - Stir the ice cream until it is mostly melted and smooth.
04 - In a large mixing bowl, gently fold the softened ice cream together with the self-rising flour until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
05 - Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared loaf pan.
06 - If desired, scatter multicolored sprinkles over the top of the batter.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
08 - Allow the bread to cool in the pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes, then remove from the pan and let cool completely before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.

01 - For best texture, use full-fat ice cream and ensure it is fully softened before mixing with flour.
