Hearty Beef Noodle Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Layer with Meat

01 - 2 cans (15 ounces each) of tomato sauce
02 - 1½ lbs ground beef
03 - Salt and pepper, as much as you like
04 - 1 teaspoon of sugar
05 - 2 teaspoons of chopped garlic
06 - 1 teaspoon of Italian herbs mix

→ Layer with Cream

07 - 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
08 - 1 pack (8 ounces) cream cheese

→ Other Layers

09 - 1½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese
10 - Half a pound of egg noodles (8 ounces)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up.
02 - In a pan on medium heat, brown the beef until it’s fully cooked, then drain the grease. Sprinkle in garlic and Italian seasoning, and stir for half a minute until it smells amazing.
03 - Stir in the tomato sauce, sugar, and add some salt and pepper. Simmer everything together for 3-5 minutes to blend the flavors.
04 - Stir together your cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl till everything's smooth. Boil the egg noodles in a pot, following the directions on the package, until they’re just tender but not mushy.
05 - Start with half the noodles in a casserole dish, then add half the creamy mixture and half the meat sauce. Repeat the layering, then sprinkle cheddar cheese all across the top.
06 - Put the dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. It’s done when the cheese is melted, bubbly, and starting to turn golden.
