Savory pepperoni, creamy ricotta, hot honey, and fresh basil atop bubbling cheese and golden crust.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pizza Dough

01 - 1 ball pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
02 - All-purpose flour or cornmeal, for dusting

→ Toppings

03 - 1/2 cup tomato sauce or pizza sauce
04 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 1/4 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
06 - 20 to 25 slices pepperoni
07 - 1 to 2 tablespoons hot honey
08 - Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
09 - Red pepper flakes, for extra heat (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 500°F, or the highest temperature available. Place a pizza stone or heavy baking sheet inside and allow it to heat for at least 30 minutes. On a surface dusted with flour or cornmeal, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch round.
02 - Spread tomato sauce evenly over the rolled dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edge. Distribute mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Layer pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, then dollop spoonfuls of ricotta evenly across the pizza.
03 - Carefully transfer the assembled pizza to the preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling and has developed brown spots.
04 - Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately drizzle hot honey over the top. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and add red pepper flakes if desired. Slice and serve while hot.

# Notes:

01 - Rolling the dough thinly allows for a crispier crust. Adjust the hot honey and red pepper flakes to your preferred heat level.
