# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 680 g boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon paprika
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
07 - 0.5 teaspoon fine salt
08 - 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
09 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

→ Hot Honey Sauce

10 - 60 ml honey
11 - 1 to 2 teaspoons chili flakes, to taste
12 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice
13 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter or olive oil
14 - 1 garlic clove, finely minced
15 - Pinch cayenne pepper, optional

→ Garnish

16 - 80 g feta cheese, crumbled
17 - Fresh parsley or mint, chopped
18 - Lemon zest or extra lemon juice
19 - Toasted sesame seeds or extra chili flakes, optional

# Directions:

01 - Pat dry the chicken and place in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Evenly coat with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Allow to marinate for 10–15 minutes at room temperature or up to 1 hour refrigerated.
02 - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear marinated chicken for 5–6 minutes per side if using thighs or 4–5 minutes per side if using breasts, until fully cooked. Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20–25 minutes until cooked through.
03 - In a small saucepan, combine honey, chili flakes, butter or olive oil, minced garlic, and vinegar or lemon juice. Simmer over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until bubbly and aromatic. Adjust chili or add a pinch of cayenne for desired heat.
04 - Arrange cooked chicken on a serving dish. Spoon hot honey sauce over the chicken. Top with crumbled feta and allow to sit for a few minutes to slightly soften the cheese. Garnish with chopped parsley or mint, lemon zest, and if desired, toasted sesame seeds or more chili flakes.
05 - Serve with rice, couscous, roasted vegetables, or warm flatbread. Drizzle remaining sauce over accompaniments for enhanced flavor.
