Honey Vanilla Banana Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 3 mid-sized or 2 big bananas (roughly 1 1/2 cups)
02 - ⅓ cup melted unsalted butter
03 - ½ cup honey
04 - 2 eggs
05 - ¼ cup milk
06 - 1 tablespoon real vanilla extract or paste
07 - 1 ¾ cups plain flour
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
09 - ½ teaspoon salt

→ Optional Additions

10 - Nuts broken into pieces
11 - Bits of chocolate
12 - Peanut butter topping or icing
13 - Extra banana slices on top

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up your oven to 325°F (165°C) and butter an 8½ x 4½ inch bread tin.
02 - Grab a big bowl and stir the melted butter with honey until smooth. Drop in eggs, smooshed banana, milk, and vanilla. Mix everything till it looks uniform.
03 - Take another bowl and toss together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
04 - Pour wet stuff into dry stuff and gently fold until just mixed. Don't stir too much or you'll mess it up.
05 - Dump the mix into your greased tin. You can sprinkle toppings like nuts, chocolate bits, or banana slices (face up) if you want.
06 - Stick it in the oven for 50-55 minutes. It's done when you poke it with a toothpick and nothing sticks.
07 - Let the bread sit in the pan for 15 minutes, then move it to a wire rack. Wait at least 30 more minutes before cutting.

# Notes:

01 - This banana bread gets its sweetness naturally from honey with no added refined sugar.
02 - Go for super ripe bananas with dark spots for the tastiest results.
