# What You'll Need:

→ Chicken

01 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
02 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
03 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
04 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
08 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
09 - 1 tablespoon canola oil
10 - 1 tablespoon green onions, sliced

→ Honey Butter Sauce

11 - 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
12 - 1/2 cup honey
13 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
14 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
15 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
16 - 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Directions:

01 - In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken pieces and toss to evenly coat.
02 - Heat the butter and oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces, shaking off excess flour, then arrange in an even layer. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
03 - Reduce heat to low. Add remaining butter to the skillet and let melt. Stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Continue stirring until smooth and thickened to a caramel-like consistency.
04 - Return chicken to the skillet and toss until fully coated in sauce. Cook for 1 minute, turning to ensure even coverage. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
05 - Arrange chicken on a serving platter. Sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving. Pair with white rice and sautéed green beans if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Shake off excess flour before frying to ensure a light, crisp crust on the chicken.
