Lovely layers of angel food cake, berries, and vanilla cream come together for a delightful trifle.

# What You'll Need:

→ Cake and Fruit Layers

01 - 1 prepared angel food cake, cut into cubes
02 - 2 cups mixed berries, such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries
03 - 1 can (21 oz) strawberry or cherry pie filling or fruit topping

→ Pudding and Cream Layers

04 - 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
05 - 1 1/2 cups cold milk
06 - 1 cup sour cream
07 - 2 cups whipped topping

→ Garnishes

08 - Caramel sauce or berry sauce, for drizzling
09 - Extra fresh berries, for garnish
10 - Additional whipped cream swirls, for garnish

# Directions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until the mixture thickens. Fold in sour cream until the texture is smooth and uniform.
02 - Arrange half of the angel food cake cubes at the bottom of a large glass trifle dish or clear serving bowl. Evenly distribute half of the mixed berries over the cake cubes. Spoon half of the pudding mixture over the berries. Add half of the pie filling or fruit topping.
03 - Repeat the layers by adding the remaining angel food cake cubes, followed by the remaining mixed berries, pudding mixture, and pie filling.
04 - Spread whipped topping evenly over the last layer. Drizzle caramel or berry sauce across the top. Add fresh berries and finish with piped whipped cream swirls as desired.
05 - Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld prior to serving.
