Cheesy Morning Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pieces of sandwich bread
02 - 3 pieces of American cheese
03 - 2-3 pieces of crispy bacon
04 - 2 big eggs
05 - 2 tablespoons plain butter, split
06 - Salt and pepper as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Cook and mix the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Make sure your bacon is already crispy and oil-free before you start.
02 - Put about 1½ pieces of American cheese on each bread slice. Add your crispy bacon to one slice, then pile the cooked eggs on top. Put the other bread on to finish it off.
03 - Smear roughly 1 tablespoon of butter across the top of your finished sandwich.
04 - Warm up the other tablespoon of butter in a pan on medium-high. When it's all melted, drop the sandwich in with the dry side facing down. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes until you see browning and the cheese starts getting gooey.
05 - Flip the sandwich over gently and push down with your spatula. Cook another 1-2 minutes till this side turns golden and all the cheese gets totally melty.
06 - Take it off the heat and dig in right away while it's hot and the cheese is still runny.

# Notes:

01 - Bread: Any solid sandwich bread works fine - try white, brown, or whatever you have handy.
02 - Cheese: American slices melt the best. You can swap in cheddar or other types, just cut them thin so they'll melt properly.
03 - Bacon: You can fry bacon, bake it, or nuke it in the microwave (about 2-2½ minutes for 3 pieces).
04 - Eggs: We go with scrambled eggs here, but you could try a fried egg if you want something different.
05 - Scaling: This makes just one sandwich but you can double or triple it if you need more.
