→ Main

01 - 3 ripe bananas, mashed
02 - 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
03 - 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
04 - 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
05 - 1/4 cup raisins or chopped nuts
06 - 1 cup dark chocolate chunks
07 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
08 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
02 - In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the mashed bananas and unsweetened applesauce until fully blended.
03 - Mix in the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
04 - Add the rolled oats to the wet mixture and stir until the oats are thoroughly coated.
05 - Pour the almond milk into the bowl and mix to moisten the oats. Fold in raisins or chopped nuts along with the dark chocolate chunks, dispersing them evenly.
06 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or coat lightly with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
07 - Spoon out equal portions of the cookie mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, flattening each slightly with the back of a spoon or your hand.
08 - Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cookies are firm and lightly golden.
09 - Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Let the cookies cool for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack to finish cooling.
10 - Once cooled completely, enjoy these healthy, naturally sweetened cookies.

# Notes:

01 - For extra texture, substitute half the chocolate chunks with chopped walnuts or pecans. Ensure to use ripe bananas for optimal sweetness without added sugar.
