Delicious Spicy Harissa Potatoes (Printer-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
02 - 1.5 lbs baby potatoes, sliced in half
03 - Chopped parsley for a sprinkle on top
04 - Fresh lemon juice, as much as you like
05 - 2 tablespoons harissa paste
06 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

# Method:

01 - Preheat your oven to 425°F and get it warm while you handle the rest.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the halved potatoes, olive oil, a teaspoon of kosher salt, and 1 tablespoon of the harissa paste. Stir it all up so every potato gets a good coating.
03 - Spread the seasoned potatoes in an even layer on a big baking sheet. Put them in the oven for 25-28 minutes. Flip them midway through cooking. They're ready when a fork pokes through easily.
04 - After taking them out of the oven, mix the hot potatoes with the last tablespoon of harissa paste. Squeeze some lemon over the top and garnish with chopped parsley to finish things off.

# Cook's Tips:

01 - Harissa paste is a common condiment in North African cooking. You can usually find it at bigger grocery stores. The Mina brand is a good choice with a mild or spicy option, and it's more like a chunky sauce.
02 - I used the spicy version here, which made these potatoes medium spicy. Every brand has different heat levels, so give yours a try first to figure out how much you'll want.
03 - These potatoes bring a bold, spicy kick and go great as a side dish for grilled meats, fish, or even veggie-focused meals.
