Grilled Apples Prosciutto Honey (Print View)

Juicy apples grilled and paired with savory prosciutto, honey, and hints of creamy cheese.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 2 medium apples, such as Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Pink Lady
02 - 8 slices prosciutto, thinly sliced
03 - 2 tablespoons honey, preferably raw or hot honey
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter, for brushing apples

→ Optional Garnishes

05 - 2 ounces goat cheese or brie, for creamy variation
06 - Fresh rosemary or thyme, finely chopped, for garnish
07 - Crushed walnuts or pecans, for added crunch
08 - Balsamic glaze, for drizzling

# Directions:

01 - Heat the grill to medium-high. Clean and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
02 - Slice apples into wedges or rounds about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick, removing the core and leaving the peel intact.
03 - Brush both sides of the apple slices with olive oil or melted butter.
04 - Place apples on the grill and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until grill marks show and the fruit is tender but still holds its shape.
05 - Wrap or place prosciutto around the grilled apples. For crisp prosciutto, grill the slices separately for 1 to 2 minutes until slightly crisp.
06 - Arrange apples on a platter. Drizzle with honey and, if desired, garnish with cheese, fresh herbs, nuts, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Brushing apples with oil or butter prevents sticking and enhances grill marks. Use hot honey for a subtle heat.
