Gravy Biscuits Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 pound breakfast sausage, any brand
02 - 3 cups hash browns from the freezer aisle, shredded
03 - One 16-ounce can of Pillsbury Grands! biscuits

→ Gravy

04 - 2 cups of milk, any kind you prefer
05 - One gravy mix packet, sausage flavor (2.75 ounces)

→ Toppings & Seasonings

06 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
07 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven on to 375°F (190°C). Coat a 9x13-inch dish with some cooking spray or grease it lightly.
02 - On medium heat in a skillet, cook the sausage until it's browned and crumbly. Drain the fat once you're done.
03 - Spread the frozen shredded hash browns in an even layer across the greased dish. Toss the browned sausage right on top of the hash browns.
04 - In a mixing bowl, blend the gravy mix with milk until smooth. Pour this liquid all over the sausage and hash browns in the dish.
05 - Cover the top with an even layer of shredded cheddar cheese.
06 - Chop each biscuit into four sections and scatter them on top of the cheese layer.
07 - Pop the dish into the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and baked through. Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - To add even more flavor, sprinkle some extra salt and pepper onto the hash browns before layering.
