Goat Cheese Sardine Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 pieces of baguette, sliced about 1/2-inch thick
02 - 2 tablespoons of olive oil
03 - 1 tin of King Oscar Brisling Sardines in Spicy Cracked Pepper, drained
04 - 2 tablespoons of goat cheese (plain)
05 - 2 tablespoons of cream cheese (plain)
06 - 4 sweet cherry peppers, sliced and stems taken off
07 - Freshly cracked peppercorns to taste
08 - Chopped parsley for sprinkling on top

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 400°F and let it warm up fully before toasting the bread.
02 - Grab a serrated bread knife and cut your baguette into slices about 1/2-inch thick. Lay them out on a flat baking tray.
03 - Brush olive oil onto the top of each bread slice, then bake them for 5 to 8 minutes. You want them lightly golden. Pull them out and let them cool slightly.
04 - In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the goat cheese with cream cheese. Microwave for about 15 seconds. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
05 - Spread the creamy cheese blend over the toast pieces. Sprinkle some fresh black pepper on top, then add your sardine fillet and sweet cherry pepper slices.
06 - Finish off with a sprinkle of chopped parsley, and enjoy your appetizers right away while they’re fresh.
