On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a 10 x 12 inch rectangle.

Spread pizza sauce evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Scatter mozzarella cheese, sliced pepperoni, and Italian seasoning over the sauce.

Tightly roll the pastry into a log, sealing the edge with a bit of water. Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls.

Place rolls cut side up on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown.
