Cheddar and pepper jack meet Doritos for savory, crunchy grilled burgers full of flavor.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 4 ounces (about 2 cups) Doritos, crushed into fine crumbs
02 - 1 large egg
03 - 2 ounces pepper jack cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
04 - 2 ounces cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
05 - 1 pound ground beef

# Directions:

01 - Crush Doritos into fine crumbs using a food processor or sealed bag and rolling pin; measure out 2 cups of crumbs for use.
02 - Place ground beef in a large mixing bowl and add Doritos crumbs and egg.
03 - Mix the ground beef, Doritos crumbs, and egg until fully combined and evenly integrated.
04 - Cut both pepper jack and cheddar cheese into evenly sized 1/2 inch cubes.
05 - Gently fold cheese cubes into the beef mixture, ensuring even distribution of cheese.
06 - Divide mixture into 4 to 6 equal portions, then shape each into a burger patty of uniform thickness.
07 - Grill or air fry patties at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes, or until fully cooked through and cheese is melted within.

# Notes:

01 - Avoid overworking the beef to retain burger tenderness. For air frying, avoid overcrowding the basket for even cooking.
