# What You'll Need:

→ Bread and Cheese

01 - 2 glazed donuts, sliced in half horizontally
02 - 4 slices cheddar cheese

→ Protein

03 - 4 slices bacon

→ Flavorings

04 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
06 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional

# Directions:

01 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and cayenne pepper if using.
03 - Place the donut halves, cut side down, in the skillet and toast until golden brown and slightly crisp.
04 - Flip the donuts. Layer 2 slices of cheddar cheese on each bottom half.
05 - Crumble the cooked bacon over the cheese on each donut bottom.
06 - Drizzle the maple syrup mixture evenly over the bacon.
07 - Place the top halves of the donuts over the bacon and cheese. Press gently and cook 1-2 minutes until cheese melts and donuts are warmed through.
08 - Remove from skillet and serve hot.
