Crispy Potato Waffles (Print View)

Golden potato waffles cooked in a waffle maker. Cheesy and crispy, they’re a fun twist on classic hash browns.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
02 - 4 cups shredded hash browns (frozen or chilled)
03 - 1/4 cup shredded cheese

# Directions:

01 - Turn on your waffle iron and set it to medium-high. It's important to get it hot enough to make the waffles crispy.
02 - Grab a big bowl and toss in the shredded hash browns, cheese, and flavored salt. Stir everything really well so it's all combined.
03 - Lightly coat your waffle iron with cooking spray or oil, so the waffles won’t stick once they’re done.
04 - Spoon about 1 cup of the hash brown mix into the waffle iron. Close it and let it cook until they're golden and crispy just how you like. Don’t worry about the steam—that's totally normal!
05 - Enjoy these waffles right away while they’re crunchy. Letting them cool on a rack helps keep them crisp instead of soggy.

# Notes:

01 - These crispy hash waffles are a great breakfast option. They pair perfectly with avocado, eggs, or bacon.
