Delicious Crispy Dry Rub Chicken Wings (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Wings & Coating

01 - 2 lbs of chicken wings (separated into drummettes and flats)
02 - 1/3 to 1/2 cup plain flour, just enough to generously cover the wings

→ Dry Rub Seasoning

03 - 1 teaspoon chili powder
04 - 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
06 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - Salt and pepper, add as much or little as you like
09 - A quick spritz of olive oil spray

# Instructions:

01 - Thoroughly dry your chicken wings with paper towels and toss them in a big bowl or sealable plastic bag.
02 - Mix the flour and spices together. Cover every inch of the wings, making sure the seasoning sticks well. If you need to, add more.
03 - Heat your oven up to 375°F. Place parchment paper on a baking tray, lay the wings out, and spray them lightly with olive oil.
04 - Pop them in the oven for 20 minutes. Then turn them over, spray oil again, and bake another 10 minutes, or until they’re golden, crispy, and reach an internal temp of 165°F.

# Notes:

01 - You could use regular paprika instead, but smoked paprika gives an awesome extra flavor boost.
02 - Want them spicier? Add 1 to 1½ teaspoons of Sriracha, cayenne, or your favorite Cajun spice mix.
03 - Don’t skip the salt! It really helps the flavors pop.
