Chicken Bacon Hot Buns (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Sauce

01 - 1/2 cup mayo
02 - 2 tablespoons tangy BBQ sauce
03 - 2 tablespoons honey
04 - 1 tablespoon regular mustard
05 - 1/2 tablespoon fancy Dijon
06 - 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

→ For the Sandwiches

07 - 4 jumbo breaded chicken strips
08 - 4 thick bacon strips, fried till crunchy
09 - 4 soft brioche dog rolls
10 - Torn romaine or iceberg lettuce
11 - Sliced Roma tomatoes, cut thin
12 - Thin red onion rings
13 - Sliced dill pickles, cut thin

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a small bowl and throw in the mayo, BBQ sauce, honey, both mustards, and lemon juice. Stir everything till it's smooth. Put it in the fridge while you work on the rest.
02 - Cook your chicken strips following what the package says until they're nice and crunchy. An air fryer makes this super easy.
03 - Give those brioche dog rolls a quick toast for about a minute just to warm them up a bit.
04 - Make sure your bacon's nice and crispy however you like to cook it - in the oven, pan, or air fryer. Let it sit on paper towels to soak up the extra grease.
05 - Smear plenty of sauce on both sides inside each roll. Stack chicken strips, crispy bacon, lettuce, onion, tomato slices, and pickles inside.
06 - Crack some black pepper on top and add more sauce if you want before you dig in.

01 - You might want to make twice as much sauce - it tastes amazing when you pour extra over your finished sandwich.
