# What You'll Need:

→ Cornbread Waffle Bites

01 - 120 g cornbread mix
02 - 120 ml buttermilk
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 30 g shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
05 - 30 g cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)

→ Honey Butter Syrup

06 - 60 ml honey
07 - 28 g unsalted butter
08 - 15 ml maple syrup (optional)
09 - Pinch of salt

# Directions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine cornbread mix, buttermilk, and egg. Mix until a smooth batter forms. Gently fold in shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon if using.
02 - Preheat mini waffle maker and lightly grease cooking surfaces. Add approximately 1 tablespoon of batter to each section and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
03 - In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, unsalted butter, maple syrup if desired, and a pinch of salt. Stir until butter has melted and syrup is smooth, then remove from heat.
04 - Arrange waffle bites on a serving platter and drizzle with warm honey butter syrup. Serve immediately.
