Coconut Marshmallow Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces
02 - A quarter bag (about 2.5 oz) of tiny marshmallows
03 - 2 cups of regular sugar
04 - 3 large eggs
05 - 1 tablespoon of vanilla flavoring (pick Dominican kind if possible)
06 - A teaspoon of salt
07 - Unsweetened shredded coconut, 1 1/4 cups
08 - 1 1/2 cups of sifted plain flour

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 325°F (165°C) and get it heating.
02 - Use a pot over gentle heat to melt together the marshmallows and butter until nice and creamy.
03 - Whisk together the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt in a bowl, making sure everything blends well.
04 - Slowly pour the buttery marshmallow mixture into the bowl with the sugar one, stirring as you go.
05 - Toss in the coconut and flour, blending gently until just mixed and you don’t see any more dry flour.
06 - Use parchment to line a rectangular pan (13 x 9 x 1-inch), then pour the batter in and spread it evenly.
07 - Put it in the oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes. It’s done when the top’s golden and a knife comes out clean.
08 - Take it out of the oven, let it cool fully, and then cut it into bars.

# Notes:

01 - These bars are soft and chewy with a lovely coconut taste in every bite.
