Turn the oven on and heat it to 200°C (400°F).

On a clean surface with a dusting of flour, roll your puff pastry until it’s evenly spread out.

Coat the pastry with a good layer of butter, then sprinkle a blend of sugar and cinnamon evenly across the top.

Cut the dough into 2.5cm-wide (1-inch) strips, twist each one a few times, and place them spaced out on a tray with parchment paper.

Give every twist a coating of the beaten egg to make them shiny and golden after baking.

Put the tray in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden and puffed up. Let them cool a little before eating.
