06 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
07 - 1/2 cup chopped pecans
08 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
03 - Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
04 - Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the cherry filling, spreading it gently to cover as much as possible.
05 - Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
06 - Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring it covers as much of the mix as possible.
07 - If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans and ground cinnamon on top for additional flavor and crunch.
08 - Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
09 - Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.

# Notes:

01 - Ensure the cream cheese is thoroughly softened for the smoothest cheesecake layer.
