02 - 1 to 2 teaspoons olive oil
03 - 2/3 pound 85% lean ground beef
04 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
09 - 1/4 cup diced tomato
10 - 1/4 cup chopped pickles
11 - 1/4 cup chopped red onion

→ Cheese Sauce

12 - 5 ounces (about 2 cups) freshly grated cheddar cheese
13 - 1 teaspoon butter
14 - 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
15 - 1/2 cup whole milk
16 - 1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard

→ Special Sauce

17 - 4 1/2 tablespoons mayonnaise
18 - 1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup
19 - 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
20 - 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
21 - 3/4 teaspoon yellow mustard
22 - 3/4 teaspoon hot sauce (or to taste)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven according to frozen fries package instructions. Shred the cheddar cheese and chop all fresh toppings.
02 - Arrange the frozen fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake per package directions until crisp.
03 - Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and ground beef. Break into chunks as it browns. Season with salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Cook until no longer pink and keep warm.
04 - In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, honey, yellow mustard, and hot sauce. Chill until ready to serve.
05 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour and whisk for 1 minute. Gradually pour in about one-third of the milk, whisking to prevent lumps. Add the remaining milk and mustard, whisking thoroughly. Gradually incorporate shredded cheddar, stirring after each addition until sauce is smooth.
06 - Arrange hot fries on a serving platter. Spoon cheese sauce evenly over fries. Top with cooked ground beef, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and red onion. Drizzle with special sauce and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal texture, use freshly grated cheese to ensure the cheese sauce is smooth and free from grit.
