Hot Pepper Cheese Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 3 cups regular flour, with extra for handling
02 - 1 ½ teaspoon regular salt or 2 teaspoon sea salt
03 - 1 teaspoon dry active yeast

→ Flavorings

04 - 1 ½ cups grated sharp cheddar
05 - 2 chopped jalapeños with seeds taken out

→ Liquid

06 - 1 ½ cups water warmed to 40°C-43°C

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a big bowl and throw in the flour, salt, yeast, grated cheese and chopped jalapeños. Add your warm water and mix everything with a spoon until you've got a sticky ball of dough.
02 - Wrap the bowl with plastic and set it somewhere warm for 8-18 hours. Your dough's ready when it's flat on top with bubbles you can see. The longer it sits, the better it'll taste.
03 - Turn your oven up to 230°C. Stick your Dutch oven (with its lid) into the hot oven for half an hour so it gets properly hot.
04 - Push the dough down to get rid of air bubbles. Sprinkle flour on some parchment paper, put the dough on it, and shape it into a ball with flour on your hands. Dust the top lightly, cover with plastic, and let it sit for 30 minutes.
05 - Take the hot Dutch oven out. Drop in the dough with the parchment paper still under it. Put the lid on and bake for 45 minutes, then take the lid off and cook another 10-15 minutes until you get a nice golden crust. Let it cool a bit before cutting.

# Notes:

01 - This easy bread doesn't need kneading but still gives you a hearty loaf with amazing taste.
02 - Letting the dough sit for hours makes the bread taste better and gives it a nicer feel.
